Very good service. Food was delicious. Fast and friendly.

The staff is arrogant and extremely unfriendly! One should invest less energy in artificial nails and hair, instead work on being friendly. Card payment what is it? The waitress wanted to fob me off with the WLAN does not work, therefore no card payment possible because she was too lazy to get the device. Instead, she taught me that you have to pay 3% if I want to pay by card and that I still have a lot to learn in life. Thanks for the great wisdom. You only offer food that is far too expensive. I've seen a lot but this staff was the rudest I've ever had! Lousy dandruff.

Can't understand the bad reviews here. Ate there today. Food see picture was great. The service was also more than friendly and often asked if everything was okay and tasted good. Sat on the terrace with a view of Schwanstein Castle.

So I don't know how to rate something badly here because the food and the service is just great, we had the mushroom and cream schnitzel and the roast pork and beindes was great. The people there are on their toes, the beer came straight away and so did the food. I will gladly come again.

Unfortunately the food is very overpriced because the food is mostly convenience products. We had the cabbage roll with mashed potatoes. Unfortunately, the mashed potatoes are made from potato flakes and the cabbage roll is a deep-frozen product. Unfortunately the gravy tasted far too much like glutamate. For a cost of goods of no more than 2.50 €, I find the price of 13.50 € really outrageous. Yes, of course, you always pay for the location, etc. but personally, as a restaurateur, I don't find that justified. The waitress was very friendly but unfortunately did not understand the function of the mask and wore the mask on our nose.

I can only agree with the positive reviews. Not only the view of the castle, but also the food and service were worth 5 stars for us.

13eu for curry wurst with fries, maybe you can go to the currywurst snackbar opposite this. Goulash soup was 5.90 eu tasty with a tiny mini dried bun. Service was not welcoming and a lot of annoying wasps flying around. During corona time and not welcoming means they do not want customers?

Waitress not at all nice and kind, she was in a hurry to make sure we leave after consuming. Small portions compared to the cost.

Tourist trap !!! The staff is extremely arrogant and unfriendly. First the guest is ignored longer and then served impolite. (Apparently the corona crisis has not brought any losses if you can afford such behavior). The price performance is disproportionate. Our hot drinks that we had with the Kaiserschmarrn were not tasty, the coffee was just bitter, the Kaiserschmarrn for € 14.50 was way too expensive. But the guest won't come here again.

Very efficient service and moderately priced compared to this restaurant being at a tourist place. It’s very efficiently located near the bus stop and they have menu cards in multiple languages. What I loved the most is the view from this place. What can I say, goof good with an amazing view and life is sorted.

Unfortunately, the waitresses did not understand that mouth and nose protection is not a chin protection. The kitchen staff has completely given up wearing a face mask. Hygienically questionable and of course expensive, as a tourist attraction.

Just after the brisk walk to the castle we had a bagel coffee with a nice piece of swarzwalderkirsch.

Nice view of the castle. Unfortunately, long waiting times and unfriendly service. Prices are the classic tourist trap.

Apple strudel was only average, vanilla sauce tasted artificial. Coffee had a very bitter taste, only with a lot of milk and sugar. We actually drink our coffee black ... value for money leaves something to be desired.

Very Good service, also flexible in individual wishes, friendly staff

A very cozy beer garden that invites you to linger after a hike. You don't have a special look. Mainly you can see the street overrun by tourists. But still, when the sun is shining it is very cozy here. The prices according to the location, so not for the small budget. However, the service is anything but royal. Service personnel who are obviously in a bad mood and don't enjoy their work are very unprofessional in my opinion.

From the cozy beer garden you can see the Neuschwanstein Castle 😃 Very friendly service, delicious food right across the menu: Apple strudel with vanilla ice cream 😋👍; Cheese spaetzle - with 2 different types of cheese! ; Ham and cheese sandwich with a lot of topping - was also very tasty! We were with four people on site ... 😊 thus the most diverse tastes were best served! 👍😃 Gladly again!! 😎

Atmosphere was plesent and the service was very fast and polite. Our server even explained some of the attractions nearby. The price was reasonable fir a tourist area. I would rate five stars but the meal had too much breading on it.

Walked in and walked out, busy day and lots of empty tables with reserved signs so tried to seat us in the back and it smelled like a soggy ashtray. Absolutely disgusting! Couldn’t stay in the restaurant a minute longer.

Very rude service and not serving an authentic food!

Came in with group, around 30min, told us to get up because next group is coming. Bad service, surprisingly rude.

Staff was rude and served us like we were "lower class" people. Food was super expensive (example: frankfurt sausage was two cold 0,3€ Aldi sausages with fries and price was 10 €) and poorly made. I will not come back to this place. One restaurant after was super cheap and good food where staff was polite and nice. 0/5 for this place.

We were having car trouble and our phones wouldn't work. After trying to use the broken payphone, we explained our situation to the manager. She suggested we try the payphone again and told us, "we don't have a phone for you."

I've been to many restaurant with rude services, but this one tops ALL OF THEM. The waitress (with dark black hair) was not only rude and unhelpful, after she gave us the bill and our changes (about $10 euro of changes), she went ahead and grip ALL OF THE changes as her tip! I'm usually a good tipper and has been tipping thru my trip, but not for rude services, she is basically a thief

Good Object

With a beautiful view ate a coffee with apple strudel and zahne. Friendly service and fast. Very many visitors from Asia who take possession of all places. Furthermore, fine.

Nice services . Provided English menu... even in Chinese. With view while sitting outside. Good food !

Food is ok, but the waitress messes up with our order and would not change the dish.

Weeping. The chicken leg was Mari, but the legs are soft and the rest is sissho! Staff feel impatient! Salad is like pickled onion coming out of the rice noodle house.

Absolutely amazing procustomer care. We came at 1600, when they were closing to prepare for big dinner. And yet, they let me, my wife and our 2 year old daughter inside to have at least soup. It was good quality and the best price around. Can only recommend. Thank you.

I only ate goulash and codon blue. I think it would be nice if the taste of Koreans was more spicy and hotter.

Very friendly staff. We had the Wiener Schnitzel and a ChampignonSchnitzel. And followed it up with a slice of Schwarzwaeldertorte, which was great. It was a cold early spring day and it was nice to go in and warm up for a bit. Views out the window of Neuschwanstein.

Super efficient & friendly service which was ideal as time was constrained to the timetable for the castle tours. Food was delicious and well portioned! Definitely the place to eat in the area. We had the pork knuckle, white sausage with pretzel, black forest cake & strudel.

Food and service was good. However, it's a cash only place. There was a ATM across the street but still, its 2018. The restaurant was clean and bathrooms were nice.

Overpriced

The owner is very rude. I wanted to make a reservation for a large group, she replied in a very unpolite way for my questions about availibility and reservations. Being polite to the customers doesn't hurt! Especially that when you run a restaurant you are here for guests not the other way around!

Hostess sat us quickly outside but made our group of 7 sit at two tables which confused the servers. Food was lousy. My plate was Frankfurter with Pommes and was literally two hot dogs and oven baked French fries (8.5 euros). At payment time the waitress actually comes to the table with a handheld electronic device showing total, but informs CASH ONLY. Something very fishy about that. Good thing my kids had extra euros on them to bail out their dad from a very embarrassing situation. Last I checked, this IS the 21st century, is it not??? A reputable restaurant of ANY caliber with this many customers would understand how to set up a VISA payment account.

Nice service and food here is OK. Great location to have meals after visiting Schloß Neuschwanstein.
